WIG30 Surges 0.66% as Poland Stocks Close Strong

Poland’s stock market saw a positive close on Friday, with the WIG30 index rising by 0.66% to hit a three-month high. The gains were led by sectors including Basic Materials, Media, and Information Technology. KGHM Polska Miedz SA led the charge, up 3.37%, followed by Asseco Poland SA, which rose 3.28%, and BUDIMEX SA, which increased by 2.95%. On the downside, CD PROJEKT SA, CCC SA, and Dino Polska SA experienced losses. On the whole, there were more gainers than losers on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, with 268 stocks advancing, 244 declining, and 109 unchanged.
