In a significant development in international technology collaboration, the United States and the United Arab Emirates have finalized a groundbreaking agreement facilitating the export of advanced American AI chips to the UAE. Under the terms of the agreement, the UAE is set to import 500,000 of Nvidia’s most advanced AI chips annually, beginning this year. The imported chips will primarily support the development of a vast AI data center complex in Abu Dhabi, a project spearheaded by Emirati AI firm G42.
